I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Veggie Fries. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.
With the spring weather comes along the busy sports schedule so I’m always on the lookout for quick and easy better-for-you options to serve my family. At least four days out of the week are spent at the baseball field between games and practices which always fall right in the middle of dinner time, so I need quick and easy meals to serve before or after. This past week while doing our weekly grocery shopping trip at Stop & Shop, I picked up two packages of Veggies Fries that recently became available at Stop & Shop.
When the kids were younger it was easy to sneak vegetables into their foods, but now that they’re getting older, it’s getting harder especially with Trevor who has become pickier with what he wants to eat. The Veggie Fries are available in four different flavors and are made with all natural, non-GMO ingredients including a blend of select farm-grown vegetables, legumes, herbs and spices and real potatoes that are sourced within the U.S. They’re not only gluten-free, but they are free of soy, dairy, tree nuts, peanuts and eggs as well.

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical with how the boys would react to the veggie knowing they were a healthier version and included a blend with vegetables. I expected comments about how they didn’t taste like their usual fries, but instead received comments about how good they were, and how I should buy them more often. While the children and I enjoyed both varieties, the overall winner was the Veggie Fries – Carrots.
Stop & Shop Veggie Fries promotion:
- Through June 11th Stop & Shop customers will receive $0.50 off their Veggie Fries purchases.
Veggie Fries are not only perfect to serve during lunch or dinner, but they’re also great for BBQs and in between meals as well.
While the Carrot and Broccoli are the only varieties available at Shop & Shop, the two additional varieties can also be found at grocery stores nationwide including Whole Foods, Shaws, Wegmans, and Market Basket.
