While I was pregnant with Jacob everyone used to tell me to make sure to get enough sleep that once the he was here I wouldn’t know what sleep was. I knew I’d have sleepless nights, but didn’t realize it would last almost 5 years. Around the time Jacob started sleeping through the night, I got pregnant with Tyler, and those sleepless nights soon emerged. Feedings at 11 pm, 2am, 3am, 4:30 am, diaper changes throughout the night and of course those nights where I had to change soaked sheets at 3am.
Pampers recently interviewed 9,000 moms and found the number one unmet need is a diaper that provides superior overnight dryness. One of the issues I had when Jacob started sleeping through the night was not having a diaper that would last. I can remember countless times having to change the sheets during the night and give him a bath due to soaking through his diaper. Pampers incorporated this firsthand insight, as well as the brand’s deep understanding of baby and baby’s needs, to design a diaper that both mom and baby can count on for up to 12 hours of overnight protection. I’m happy to report that Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers’ softest diaper are now available through size 5, and Pampers Cruisers are now more absorbent and offer Pampers’ best fit for active babies.
I recently gifted two new packages of Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Cruisers to a good friend of ours who is due with twins later this month to help keep her children protected throughout the night. Along with the new and improved diapers I also put together a little gift basket to help Give the Gift of Sleep before her precious bundles of joy arrive. The basket included a gift card for dinner, a warm and cozy no-sew blanket, bath products, and lotion to help relax after that warm bubble bath.
Order some take out dinner, enjoy a nice relaxing bubble bath, and cozy up on the couch or in bed with the no-sew blanket. Every expecting mom can use a little down time and a little extra sleep before before baby arrives, especially two babies!
