Trevor who loves all things spooky, was thrilled with the Monster 500 toys, and couldn’t wait to set up the racing tracks. I was surprised to see how much fun Jonathan was having since he is not a fan of monsters or anything creepy, but the vehicles and racing drew him in on the excitement. They enjoyed going head to head, racing the small vehicles on the Monster 500 Graveyard Gauntlet Track Set, and thanks to the victory flag at the end a few arguments were saved as to who won first, the flag doesn’t lie. Before long we has a pen and paper sitting on the table as they were keeping track to see which character would win more often.
While the Monster 500 Graveyard Gauntlet Track Set was very simple to set up and user-friendly, we had quite the issue with the Monster 500 Toxic Terror Trap Playset due to our own error. For the longest time I thought the toy was defective as we could not get the monster to stay standing. I was just about to contact customer service when I decided to watch a couple of YouTube videos and check a couple other reviews to see if anyone else was having the same issue. Come to find out that in order to get the monster standing the two ramps at the end of the track must be standing, if not he’ll keep falling down and you’ll get tired of the clicking noise. So if you’re having trouble getting him to stand, make sure the two orange ramps are standing up. Once we realized the ramps needed to be standing, we had no other issues.
Can’t get the monster to stay standing in the Monster 500 Toxic Terror Trap Playset? There’s a simple fix! The two orange ramps at the end of the track must be standing in order for the monster to stay standing.
