When it comes to shopping for a Halloween costume, I don’t just look at the price, but the quality as well. Costumes in our house are not just for Halloween, they are used all year long as the boys and their friends enjoy putting on the costumes and using their imagination, so I don’t mind spending a little extra. While we have a number of super hero costumes that the kids take turns wearing, lately they have been into playing cops and robbers. We often have 5-6 kids over, but with only two police costumes they are always having to take turns being the cop. They do great at sharing for the most part, but I have been looking to add another outfit or two to their costume bin as they are always being used.
Thanks to Costume SuperCenter for providing a costume.
After browsing through a number of children’s police officer and S.W.A.T. costumes at Costume SuperCenter. Since arriving, the kid’s police officer costume has been used almost daily. We promote unplugging from technology and encourage active play so I love when the boys decide to get out all of their costumes, dress up and use their imagination. The weather has been warmer for the past few days, and they’ve been busy running around the yard, and riding the bikes pretending that they are police officers.
The Junior Police Officer Costume is also a one-piece outfit, the shirt and pants are sewn together. In addition to the jumpsuit, a hat, belt, radio, baton, handcuffs, badge and whistle are also included. The material is on the thinner side, so if you are planning to use this costume on Halloween and it’s cold where you live, make sure to order a size that will allow the child to wear clothes underneath.
Out of the three kid’s police costumes that we have, the Junior Police Suit Child Costume is the best quality. After almost two weeks of active play with a number of 5-7 year olds, it is still intact and there is no fraying or seems coming apart, like our other 2 costumes.
