Even though the boys are still many years away from college, we have already started to look into ways to save for their tuition. I know first hand what it feels like to graduate from college and be swamped with thousands of dollars in student loans, and trying to start a life with all of that debt is not easy. I don’t want to have my children swarmed with debt like I did so when I joined Upromise last year to help save for college.
Throughout the past couple of years I have done more and more shopping online especially during the holidays and birthdays. I often shop at Kohls.com, Amazon, and Best Buy which are all a part of the Upromise cash back program. Mobil and Exxon are also a part of the program, and after registering your card, you can earn money for college by simply filling up your tank, which in our household is at least once a week.
March Bonus College Savings Month:
During March, Upromise by Sallie Mae is increasing the cash back to help families, college students and recent grads to save and pay for college. During the March Bonus College Savings Month, almost 300 online retailers are offering 7- 20 percent cash back on eligible purchases made when shopping through Upromise.com. Having thousands in loans myself little bit helps, and the best thing is I already shop at these places, but now get an extra bonus to put towards college.
