With our third child due in July, we have tried out a number of travel systems of all different price points. The newest luxury stroller to arrive is the i’Coo Acrobat Stroller Travel System. If you are not familiar with iCoo, it is a subsidiary of Hacuk. that offers high-fashion and high-end baby gear.
The color combination of the i’Coo Acrobat Plus iGuard35 Infant Car Seat is unlike any stroller I have ever seen, the copper frame and real leather give this beauty a unique look. It is good-looking, lightweight, and offers a smooth ride for baby, while handling with ease for mom & dad.
The i’Coo Acrobat is in the middle of a full size stroller and a lightweight stroller, it is compact and light but also can be used as a travel system.
i’Coo Acrobat Features:
Today’s post is a part of the Insider’s Program on Bloggy Moms. All opinions are my own
The Seat:
The seat is real leather along with the baby insert and the removable bumper. For rest time and napping, the seat reclines back but does not lay flat. It features an easy to use five point buckle.
Adjustable handle:
The height of the handle can be adjusted from 35.5 inches to 40 inches.
Breaking system/ Wheels:
For the back wheels, there is a one step break located in between the wheels. The front wheels rotate 360 degrees and to engage the front breaks, you will need to press on both of the reflectors in the front.
Fold/Unfold:
The i’Coo Acrobat Stroller fold with one hand and stands up by itself when folded.
Storage:
The under seat storage is smaller then the full size travel systems, but there is still plenty of room to fit a medium or large diaper bag. In addition to the under seat storage there is also a large zippered pocked on the back of the seat to carry essentials – diapers, wipes, wallet, phone ect.
Adjustable footrest:
Removable child bar:
The leather bar can swing open or can be moved completely. When using as a travel system, the car seat attachments will snap into the same place as the bar.
Converts into a travel system.
The i’Coo Acrobat converts easily into a travel system with the included latch connectors and the iGuard35 infant car seat. The iGuard35 infant car seat is recommended for babies from 4lbs to 35lbs.
Accessories:
Included with the i’Coo Acrobat is a rain cover & matching boot cover to keep child warm.
Is there anything I would change?
While this stroller has many features that we enjoy, for the price point I would have added a larger canopy. Although the current canopy can be unzipped and lowered, it would be more convenient to just extend the current canopy length a couple inches to help protect baby. A parent cup holder would have also been great as most people always have a water bottle when going for a walk.
The stroller was designed by British Architect, Richard Mitzman who teamed up with iCoo Germany. iCoo Germany hired one of the worlds most recognized infant car seat engineers (Mathais Kirstien) to design the iGuard35 infant car seat.
Where to buy the i’Coo Acrobat Plus iGuard35 Infant Car Seat:
Along with the luxury look and feel, the Acrobot travel systems comes with a luxury price of $699. If it fits into your budget, you’ll want to check out this eye catching stroller on Amazon.
