After waking up to snow on Easter Sunday I was beginning to think that this winter would never end. The kids have been cooped up inside most of the winter due to below zero temperatures and they’ve been anxious to get outside, ride their bikes, play at the park, and dig in the sand. Luckily, spring decided to arrive this past week, and in just two days over a foot of snow has disappeared and all of the bikes and outdoor toys have been brought outside.
With the spring weather arriving, it’s time to pack up the snow pants and winter coats, and take out the spring apparel. The only problem, Jonathan doesn’t fit into any of his spring clothes from last year, so he is in need of a whole new wardrobe. With the kids growing so fast, I’m always on the lookout for clothing that is not only affordable but will also withstand the adventures of my two active children.

Gymboree is partnering with KaBOOM, a national non-profit organization that works to help kids, especially those in underserved communities, enjoy a childhood with active play, though a series of programs and activities, with the goal or raising enough money to build a place for 10,000 deserving children to play in 2015.
