Thank-you to Dollar Tree for sponsoring today’s Halloween craft post.
With Jonathan heading off to first grade this year, Trevor has been bored out of his mind during the day. Preschool hasn’t started quite yet, so between 8am-3:30pm all I hear is “mom, do you want to play with me?” I can only build with Tinker-Toys, drive trucks around, and do puzzles for so many hours. To help pass the time and to improve Trevor’s fine motor skills I have been on the lookout for frugal crafts to make that allow him to cut, color, and paint. We have been saving up toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, egg cartons, and coffee containers for a couple months now in preparation for some fun crafts.

I found this fun Glowing Eyes activity (as well as others) on Dollar Tree’s Value Seekers Club. The Value Seekers Club is FREE and it is packed with frugal fun ideas, printable, recipes, crafts and more. In addition to all of the fun DIY activities, The Value Seekers Club also hosts members-only contests and sneak peeks of new merchandise.
With Halloween right around the corner, I thought these Glowing Eyes would be perfect to make. Hide them in the bushes outside on Halloween night to keep an eye on all of the trick-or-treaters, or play a game inside at night, hide them all around the house, possibly with a secret treat inside. Who will be able to find the most?
If you’re planning a Halloween party, or just want to make a fun craft with the kids, these glowing eyes are very easy to make, and cheap. All the supplies for this HALLOWEEN CRAFT can be purchased at your local Dollar Tree, where all products cost only $1 each!
Head over to Dollar Tree’s Value Seekers Club to get directions on how to make these Glowing Eyes.
