In observance of Veteran’s Day, hundreds of Bed & Breakfasts throughout the U.S. and Canada are offering a free night to active military, retired military and vets for Veteran’s Day. Participating properties will offer complimentary stays to one or more vets and a guest on Sunday, November 10, 2013 or Monday, November 11, 2013.
To take part in the bed and breakfast free night for Veterans, head on over and check out the list at BetterWayToStay.com. Spaces are filling up quickly, so you’ll want to call and make a reservation as soon as possible. New Bed & Breakfast locations are being added so make sure to check back if your area is already filled. I know a new one just got added for New Hampshire.
- A military ID or discharge papers may be required to prove military duty and active or prior military duty will be verified.
- A credit card number may be required to hold the room. We ask that all those participating understand their card may be charged for the full amount of one night’s stay in the event of a no-show. The room is only free if the guest shows up.
- Rooms are limited.
