Now that I have two little boys on my own, I love the holidays. We spend the days before Easter looking for coupons, making shopping lists, baking and cooking. I tend to go all out, so I try to purchase during sales, but being within 10 minutes to four major grocery stores it can be hard to track down what is on sale at which store. Just in time for Easter, you can join me and get eggs-cellent savings using the Favado app.
Favado is an app that allows you to see what is on sale at your local grocery store, get coupons, as well as compare prices. You can view the weekly sales and and when you find something you need or want you can add it to your grocery list. Each store is broken down into categories so you can easily find what your looking for: produce, deli, meat, poultry, fish, bread & bakery, canned goods, ect. One of my favorite features is being able to search for an ingredient and having the sale price listed from the local stores of my choice.
I always make a grocery list on note paper but at least 50% of the time I forget it on the kitchen counter, no matter how many times I say I’ll put it right in my purse it never seems to end up there. My smartphone however is on me 99% of the time so I can easily pull up my shopping list. I no longer need to scramble at home to look through sale flyers to see what’s on sale, I can now open up the Favado app and check out the sale prices and plan my grocery list while I’m waiting for T to get out of school. I always have 15-20 minutes between picking up the boys and always just sit in the parking lot waiting.
With Easter just only a week I need to start getting my list together of ingredients I need to purchase. Have you started shopping for Easter dinner and desserts?
