After completing the “Which BOB stroller is Right For Me?” quiz on the BOB homepage I found out the Revolution SE would be the best fit for our family, it is a multi-surface stroller and not only could be used for walking on the rough off road terrain, but I could also use it at the Zoo or around town, and could even fix the front wheel for jogging. After I found out which stroller would fit our lifestyle and needs the best I then had to choose between the single or the Duallie – double stroller. Both of the boys are at that age where they want to go in a stroller at some times but then are determined to walk at other times. I noticed that when we walk the trails one of the boys is usually out exploring while the other is enjoying the ride. So after careful consideration I decided on the single, and felt that we would get most use of out it rather then the duallie.

More about the Bob Jogging Stroller
I was happy to see that the BOB Revolution SE came almost fully assembled. It only needed the three wheels attached, and within minutes it was completely assembled and ready to go. We have been using the BOB Revolution SE for the past few weeks and I love it and regret not investing in one sooner. I couldn’t believe the difference the first time we brought it on the trails, riding over the rocks and tree roots was a breeze, I also had no problem maneuvering it up the steep hill. The main feature I love about the Revolution SE is that it is multi-purpose. I can use it while walking or jogging the rugged terrain at the state park but it can also be used for walks around the neighborhood, at the Zoo or even at the beach.
Smooth Ride
The BOB Revolution SE features a state-of-the-art suspension that provides a smooth ride for the child especially going over tree roots and rocks and the ultra-padded seat allows for additional comfort. The five-point padded safety harness helps to keep your child comfortably secure and features a one button release. The shoulder straps are easily adjustable from the front and there is no having to thread and re-thread to make the length taller or shorter.
Adjustable seat:
The seat adjusts down to 70° by using a two handed strap system, you simply loosen the straps on the right and left of the stroller to recline.
Large canopy:
I love how big the multi-position canopy is. It can almost cover the child completely when it is fully extended, and the large viewing window allows you to keep an eye on the child. Tyler loves to hide out and cool down on the hot summer days, the canopy keeps him covered and protected from the sun’s harmful ray.
At 40 inches tall the handlebar is the perfect height for myself, it is padded for comfort and the wrist straps helps to secure stroller while walking or jogging in the rough terrain. The wrist strap also doubles as a lock when the stroller is folded.
Front Wheel Swivels or Locks Straight for Jogging:
The swiveling front wheel that allows for superior maneuverability around corners and it can locked forward for increased stability when jogging. To lock in a fixed position just simply turn the wheel straight and move the front wheel tracking adjustment knob and the front wheel will lock in straight position. It is recommend to always lock the front wheel while jogging or running.
Lots of storage.
There are a number of storage areas on the Revolution SE. The boys favorite is the 2 interior mesh seat pockets, one on each side of the child which allows them to store a small toy or their snack. There is 1 large pocket on seat back that I usually use to store my wallet and a water bottle or sometimes a diaper & wipes and there is also a large Low Boy Cargo Basket underneath seat. To apply the break, you simple press down on the bottom bar, and to release you push up.
Easy fold.
The Revolution SE folds and opens in two easy steps, there are two areas on the handlebar that you squeeze which will allow you to fold the stroller over. Once it is folded over you pull on the red lever and the stroller will completely close. The lightweight frame makes it easy to get in and out of the car/SUV. The wheels can be bulky so if space is limited the wheels can be easily removed.
One thing I noticed about using the Revolution SE is that I no longer had a sore back half way through the trails, I never thought it would be because of pushing a stroller, I just figured I needed to get in better shape. Having a stroller designed for off-road rather than just around town/city only makes a huge difference. The tires, the suspension, and the position of the handlebar make pushing the Revolution SE through the woods a breeze.
