Staying connected with loved ones and friends has become easier and easier throughout the years. It’s hard to believe that my children do not know what a land line phone is…..they have never seen one. They have become accustomed to not only hearing voices on the other side of the line, but seeing faces as well through Skype and Facetime. A few months back my husband was in Georgia for a month of training, the boys didn’t understand how we couldn’t Facetime since he didn’t have access to WiFi in the barracks, now thanks to the AT&T Unite Pro by NETGEAR we’re able to stay in touch while he’s on the go using the Mobile hotspot.
AT&T Unite Pro Mobile Hotspot
WiFi On-The-Go:
With the AT&T Unite Pro users can send emails, download, upload, stream and search the Internet on AT&T’s nationwide 4G LTE network on 4G devices (where available). Once the AT&T Unite Pro is initially set up you can connect up to 15 Wi-Fi enabled devices to the Internet. The network password is located right on the device and you can also have a guest log-in for added security. In addition to the password you can also view the number of connected devices, data usage, signal strength, battery life and more on the 2.4″ touchscreen. The mobile hotspot has up to 16 hours of battery life.
Not only does the AT&T Unite Pro by NETGEAR help military families stay connected while away but it’s also great on road trips in the car to visit family back home. We take at least one big trip a year to visit my in-laws in Michigan, 20 hours in the car each way which happened to be last week. The drive seems to be endless, but since we’re now able to connect our iPads via WiFi, not only keep the kids entertained, but the adults as well.
Charge Your Smartphone with BatteryBoost:
In addition to providing a mobile hotspot, the AT&T Unite Pro by NETGEAR allows you can keep your smartphone charged with BatteryBoost, just simply connect the included cable to your smartphone to charge the battery. The AT&T Unite Pro by NETGEAR is small enough to keep in my purse, so if I know I’m heading somewhere that I won’t be able to get access to a wall outlet, I can pack it in my purse and charge my smartphone when needed.
