If you look around our house you will notice quite a few Little Tikes toys, we have been huge fans of Little Tikes since Little Man was born. We have inside toys as well as outside toys, but out of all of them my favorite has to be the Cozy Coupe, I had a Cozy Coupe when I was younger and used to spend hours driving it around and the driveway. Little Tikes Cozy Truck Assembly:
The truck was pretty easy to assemble and took me about 40 minutes to put together, the directions were simple and had great photos to go along with each step. I do recommend a power drill for the screws, if not you’ll be twisting and turning for a little while. I had trouble putting the roof on the front supports but with a little extra strength from my husband we were able to get it into place. The boys couldn’t wait for it to be put together, Baby Boy was so excited and kept trying to sit in the truck while we were assembling it.
Detachable Floor Board:
At 14 months Baby Boy had trouble touching the ground of the Cozy Truck, but Little Man was a pro at driving it around. The Cozy Truck comes with a detachable floor board that allows you to push the little ones around.We place in the floor board to push Baby Boy around and then take it out to let Little Man steer himself around with his feet. Children grow quick and I like how the Cozy Truck was designed to allow the kids to grow with it, you can begin using at about a year and a half, and still use it when the child is 5 years old.
Horn Beeps/ Locking Door/Cup Holder/Drop-Down Tailgate:
It didn’t take long for the boys to figure out that if you push the button on the steering wheel it makes noise, they both love driving around beeping their horn. The bed of the truck folds down Little Man can haul around his toys and even his lawn mower. He was also a big fan of the cup holders, he has a safe spot to leave his sippy cup while he drives around. The door is a little tough to open, Baby Boy cannot open it by himself which I like, I don’t have to worry about him falling out when I push him around. I’m sure after being used numerous times the door will get easier to open and when it does there is a latch to lock the door, which I thought was a cool feature.
The Cozy Truck is durable and I am sure it will last for years to come. Little Man and Baby Boy have a blast driving all around and hauling their toys in the back,. It will be getting plenty of use and causing many fights this summer, Baby Boy always wants what his big brother has.
