The Graco Pack N Play Sport isdesigned for outdoor use, to provide a secure spot for babies and toddlers to play and to rest outside. It folds into a storage bag for easy travel to grandma’s, vacation, or to the beach.
During the spring, summer and early fall days, if it’s nice out, you can find us outdoors. If it’s not out in our yard, then we’re at the lake house, baseball or soccer. This year it’s been pretty easy having a newborn as he doesn’t move around much, just wants to eat ever hour or so, but next year I’ll be chasing around a one year old.
Thanks to Graco, we’re now prepared for playtime and naptime with the Graco Pack ‘n Play® Playard Sport that they recently sent for baby boy. The Graco Pack ‘n Play Sport is designed for outdoor use, to provide a secure spot for little ones to play and to rest outside. As baby boy grows we have been using it more and more.

5 Favorite Features of the Graco Pack ‘n Play Playard Sport:
Easy Set Up: The Graco Pack ‘n Play Playard Sport takes just 5 seconds to set up, with a few additional seconds to add the canopy. The playard features a two-latch system that makes set-up quick and secure.
Can be Used Outdoors: This pack n play was designed for the outdoors. The base protects your little ones from the ground elements including sand and grass, making it perfect for the beach, camp, and even at grandma’s house.
Protection From Sun & Bugs: The UV50 protection-lined canopy keeps your little ones protected from the sun, while the mesh sides allow for air flow to keep cool. The large domed canopy also helps to keep out those pesky bugs, and can fully cover the playard or partially cover it.
Portable: The Graco Pack ‘n Play Sport folds up easily and can be placed in a convenient bag for storage or for travel. Everything fits inside the bag including the canopy that is stored in a pocket of the playard. The bag includes a shoulder strap to allow for easy transporting and weighs only 12 lbs, less than my 2 month old. The bag also includes roomy pockets to help carry the essentials.
Grows With The Child: I’m all for multi-use items that can be used year after year, especially when it comes to baby gear as the little ones grow so quick. The playard grows with your child from baby to toddler. It can be used for naptime or playtime when baby is young, once baby gets older the zip-open front door lets you transition the playard to a play space for a growing toddler, allowing them to go in and out as they please. With the canopy attached, it can still offer protection from the sun during playtime.
Graco Pack n Play Setup:
Press down on the 2 handles to lock the playard open.
The hexagon shape provides more room for your toddler.
The zip-open front door lets you transition the Graco Pack N Play Sport to a play space for a growing toddler. You can tie it open, and the zipper can also be secured on the outside so you don’t have to worry about the child opening the door when you don’t want them to.
Since we spend most afternoons outdoors, I keep the Graco Pack ‘n Play Sport stored near the back door, I can take it in and out day after day in just a few seconds. The canopy is by far my favorite feature as it not only protects baby boy from the sun, but also the bugs as it has been quite buggy after the last rainfall. The only thing I wish was different is the bottom liner, it is very thin and offers no padding. For at the beach, on the grass or with toddlers using it as a play area it is fine, but for younger children I wish their was more padding or a insert available.
