One of our favorite family snacks is the Tostitos Scoops! tortilla chips with salsa. We usually purchase the Tostitos salsa and serve it by itself, but this past week we hosted a party with friends & family and I added a few other ingredients into the Tostitos salsa. With the addition of corn and black beans I made a black bean corn salsa served with Tostitos Scoops! tortilla chips. The Frito-Lay’s Corn and Black Bean Bites recipe was a huge hit, and we will definitely be making it again.
Black Bean and Corn Salsa Recipe:
What you’ll need to make black bean corn salsa
- 2 cups frozen sweet corn, thawed
- 1/2 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- Juice of half a lime
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- TOSTITOS® Restaurant Style Salsa
This black bean and corn salsa is made in less than 5 minutes.
- Place all of the ingredients except for the chips into a bowl. Toss well to combine evenly.
- Cover & place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve.
- Spoon the Black bean and Corn Salsa into the TOSTITOS® SCOOPS!® Tortilla Chips and place on serving dish. *Tip – use a cookie scoop if you have one on hand.
- Serve immediately.
If you’re bringing this appetizer to a party, you’ll want to store the black bean and corn salsa in an airtight container. Before serving, scoop the black bean and corn salsa onto the corn chips. This will prevent the corn chips from getting mushy, you can also serve the black bean and corn salsa in a bowl as a dip.

Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen sweet corn thawed
- 1/2 cup canned black beans rinsed and drained
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
- Juice of half a lime
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 cup TOSTITOS® Restaurant Style Salsa
- 1 bag TOSTITOS® SCOOPS!® Tortilla Chips
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except for the chips into a bowl, toss well.
- Cover & place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Spoon mixture into TOSTITOS® SCOOPS!® Tortilla Chips and place on serving dish.
- Serve immediately.
